creativityfinding out i'm ADD has been an amazing freeing experience.............. being old enough to not swallow all the crap about it being a disorder crap, crap, crap.... i'm left with the nice feeling that all the weird but good stuff about me are just great, my mind is a race horse, my intuition immense, thinking about 1001 things at the same time can be tiring but also exhilarating
i take no f# medication, i don't mind looking for my glasses 10 times a day or forgetting where i put a book or my purse, this runs in the family, my dad, my son, my brother, one of my sisters, so i grew up in an ADD environment where these things were acceptable and just something to laugh about.....
school was a bit weird... but i got through it ok....
any more ADDS or ADHDS around this place?

by way of an introduction
Since I have friends in other parts of the world I thought it would be cool to create a space where we could commune(nicate) and carry on our endless discussions together rather than one to one.
The subjects are varied and impredictable and very often funny. I hope more people will join the wiki so I'll have more friends. I'm a people person, and as Gail says I'm 'an information person'. I love debating and I'm interested in almost everything.
I live now in Brazil but I travelled a lot during my childhood and growing up, courtesy of the Brazilian military dictatorship, I came back to Brazil with my son at age 33 and have been here since. As a result I'm fluent in English, French and Portuguese and I can manage quite well in Italian and Spanish. So people from different nationalities are more than welcome.
